I believe this is the OE p/n: 36112228150 M DOUBLE-SPOKE II (STYL.39) | | | 10-13-2006, 06:05 AM | #8 | Member Join Date: Dec 2003 Location: Los Angeles, SoCal Posts: 77 | | | | 10-13-2006, 02:34 PM | #9 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2006 Location: North San Diego County Posts: 108 | I have stock suspension on my '96 318ti. Did you modify your 318ti suspension to accommodate these wheels? I'm looking in a BMW Accessories catalog that came with the car (vintage 1996) and it indicates that the 7.5"x17" M Double-Spoke Wheel fits E36 3-Series, EXCEPT 318ti. I see these Double M wheels on 318ti's, so I'm wondering what is required to done to the car to make them fit? You have 225/45 17 tires (VR or ZR?). The BMW catalog has 235/40 ZR 17 as the recommended tire size. Is that to make them fit the 318ti? | | | 10-18-2006, 01:31 AM | #10 | Member Join Date: Dec 2003 Location: Los Angeles, SoCal Posts: 77 | No modification what so ever. All my suspension is stock and the wheels never even came close to rubbing or having any damage. The fit right on the money and makes the car look awesome! | | | 10-18-2006, 01:31 AM | #11 | Member Join Date: Dec 2003 Location: Los Angeles, SoCal Posts: 77 | 225/45R17 91W | | | 10-21-2006, 06:36 AM | #12 | Member Join Date: Dec 2003 Location: Los Angeles, SoCal Posts: 77 | nice | | | 10-27-2006, 06:04 AM | #13 | Member Join Date: Dec 2003 Location: Los Angeles, SoCal Posts: 77 | What a Ti would look like with these rims!
