We could print the static sticker, and if you have tintied windows too dark to see through, you could always gum back the static sticker and place it on the outside....

I found a place that will print 2"x8" full color die-cut stickers. For 500 stickers it will cost $443.00 or for 500 stickers it will cost $330.00.

For stickers that aren't die-cut at 2"x8" full color the cost of 500 is $184.50 and 1000 for $237.00.

I don't know if this is too much work or not, but maybe someone could post a poll and see how many people want static cling stickers, and how many want die-cut, and we could get some of each?

I have dark tint as well. Even with a static sticker that goes on the inside of the window, it will look even better because it will be a subtle accent, IMO at least

I agree. I can confirm the pricing and everything but how should we go about collecting money for the stickers.

A. someone can shell out all the money and then sell them to individuals who would like some stickers.

B. We can all chip in evenly and split the stickers evenly. This would mean someone would need to collect the cash from everyone and take care of the mailing once the stickers are printed.

C. Any other ideas.

This better not die.

Neko,

Get some pricing and then we can ask the people of the board what the deal. I thought I saw a post earlier in the thread saying that someone would be willing to front the cash and then sell them.

When you get the pricing get different color cobinations and different option Vinyl, Die Cut Static, etc...

I'd be ok with fronting money for a batch of stickers and then mailing them out and collecting money through paypal. Although I'd probably want to get something like a few hundred rather than a a thousand just so I don't get stuck with hundreds of extras.

I'd like to go over what options we have so far:

die cut
- clear background with colored text
- white background with colored text
We'd also have to decide if we'd want them sticky on the front or the back

static
- same color options

Were there any other ideas out there? I'd like to start a poll so we can pick what we want, but first I want to make sure I've got everything.

I think sticky on the back side would be best. There is no way I would stick something to the tint on the inside of my car unless it was static or something.

So this is what I would like to see if not vinyl cut then. Die cut Clear background brushed alluminum for "318 ti" and then different color cobintation for the ".org" I would like it in blue as my "TI" is Avus Blue and I am sure that someone with a red "TI" would like them in red.

Thanks for taking the initiative Swits

I'll make sure to put vinyl cut in the poll. Like I said, I'm still collecting options. I also don't want to damage my tint, so thanks for pointing out that an inside sticker would do that.

I think a clear background with white or silver lettering and a colored .org would be cool. I don't really care what color the .org is since my car is white, but I like the medium blue color on the page. It'd be nice to see what our choices would look like, since it's kinda tough to picture them.

I forgot to ask in my last reply, but what's better quality...vinyl cut or die cut? It's important that they can last weather and car washes and not fade.

This place has some decent pricing for vinyl cut stickers. In the custom size section, it says you can get 500 2-color stickers with a clear background for $185.

Any other options out there?

i have access to a graphics shop so if people are interested in having die cut silver/gray and blue stickers (there would be two separate stickers, one for each color) i can probably get them done for $3/each, $5/2 shipped. the only problem is i wouldnt be able to get around to it until late january. i would be able to mirror-reverse as well for those members that want to place the sticker on the inside of the glass.

i'm confused how people are differentiating vinyl cut and die cut though. it's pretty much the same thing, and there's no background to them at all.

Vinyl is the material the stickers are made out of and a die-cut is the template for the shape the stickers will be cut to. Think of a die-cut as a cookie cutter.
