Hmm it looks familiar..... Looking good with all the smoked details. Now you just need some tint on the windows to complete the look.

I like the smoked 1/3 of the taillights.
What tint film did you use, or where'd you get it?

Did you get some lamin-x for headlight and fog protection? Oops one more thing a chrome or black chrome tip from the BMW dealer will make the tail pipe look if you are not getting an aftermarket exhaust yet.

Tabaku, looks nice......I wish I had M3 bumpers.
I didn't know you live in DC, so do I.
Anyways....careful with the tinting.....in DC you won't pass safety inspection. i found out the hard way.

I love the 1/3 tinted tails..
it was the first "mod" i did to my car when i got it, as well as the indicators, but i used VHT Nightshade (spray tint in a can) on my OEM lights.. you can make them as subtle as you want, or as black as night and the light will still shine through very well.. i went with a mild to mid tint and it didn't affect the signals or reverse light output at all!

I also see you added new headlights/corners and changed out your grill.

Does the tint affect the reverse lights at all (clearly it does, but is it drastic?)? It's pretty dark around my parts, need as much light as possible to see when backing in/out of areas.

-Yes I have, it's a definite must to avoid any sandblasting
-I actually didn't know a black chrome exhaust tip specific to the ti even existed, I found this, supposedly genuine bmw, thanks

-Thanks, you got to love the aggressive styling of m-tech
-Do you mean lighting tinting or window tinting? I will most likely swap my stock ambers in when inspection comes around , my only worry is the angel eyes, I’ll probably try to disconnect them just to be safe

-Spraying my stock tails was actually my first plan to save some $. I still have a couple cans of VHT lying around here. I'm kind of an anti-amber freak and decided to just get clears. After this I was actually kind of scared to permanently tint the brand new clears w/ VHT so I went with lamin-x, which I love too right now, thanks.

This has been a concern of mine and one of the main reasons why I decided to use lamin-x on clears instead of trying to black out the amber on the top third of my stock tails with VHT Nightshades. I haven’t made a direct comparison with the light output but I would say the difference is very minimal with the lamin-x. I really don’t think you will have to worry about anything in terms of light output.
Like what rwd_king said, if you use VHT instead as long as you apply a light coat you should be fine.

Then again I am in the city...
