lol.....the difference is that this always happens when I'm going over a 140 mph (legaly).

and if I pull the highbeams, most of those idiots get stubborn and stay right where they are, sometimes they also brake.

smart moves ;-)

Lovely car!! I tried to get hold on several Imola Red II 323ti's last autum, but they seemed to be very popular in Germany and got sold before I could catch any.

I have also fitted H&R adjustable sway bars (or anti roll kit), but KW variant 2 coilovers on my British Racing Green 323ti. However, I have the opposit tuning of you - front@hardest and rear@softes. With your setup, don't the rear end get a bit nervous when turning hard?

I did this to prevent the car from understeering because I have that x-brace and tower brace in the car......lets say my ti stays pretty stable now.

@Kingamr

I'm at a bbq right now

Nice and compact.
Looks like it would hold a 6-pack of beer nicely.

Sutobe PM'd me the following explanation of how the 323ti releases the spare tire. Not to steal his thunder, just to let him enjoy his bbq :

Quote:
the battery compartment contains a grip handle on a wire rope.

that handle can be slid up and down the wire, its bottom is shaped like a big wrench.

there are 2 big hex nuts, which are holding the spare tire carrier, you just put the handle on these, loose them and lower the spare tire carrier while holding it back with the wire rope.

you pull the rope and the carrier comes back in its place.....works not so well sometimes

hahah now that this has been posted, it should be useful to all the people with the swapped cars who relocated their batteries (Jesse and Marv).

I've actually considered the 323ti setup, but I think our trunk wells are built differently. Here's a discussion I had about it earlier:

ahhh I gotcha...i haven't read that thread, thanks for linking that to me.
I would've thought that the tool kit well would've been removable and you would be able to replace it with the one for the 323ti. But then again, I haven't looked at that area recently hahah.

Yeah I looked up part #'s on realoem. They're different and N/A through pelican or Tischer. Even the actual metal floorpans are 323ti specific. Their spare tire mounts completely different than the 318ti's.
