I tried to get hold on several Imola Red II 323ti's last autum, but they seemed to be very popular in Germany and got sold before I could catch any. I have also fitted H&R adjustable sway bars (or anti roll kit), but KW variant 2 coilovers on my British Racing Green 323ti. However, I have the opposit tuning of you - front@hardest and rear@softes. With your setup, don't the rear end get a bit nervous when turning hard? | | | 08-16-2009, 06:42 PM | #36 | Member Join Date: Aug 2009 Location: Germany Posts: 68 | I did this to prevent the car from understeering because I have that x-brace and tower brace in the car......lets say my ti stays pretty stable now. @Kingamr later ;-) I'm at a bbq right now | | | 08-16-2009, 07:34 PM | #37 | Member Join Date: Aug 2009 Location: Germany Posts: 68 | | | | 08-16-2009, 09:45 PM | #38 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Greenville, SC Posts: 9,356 | Nice and compact. Not to steal his thunder, just to let him enjoy his bbq : Quote: the battery compartment contains a grip handle on a wire rope. that handle can be slid up and down the wire, its bottom is shaped like a big wrench. there are 2 big hex nuts, which are holding the spare tire carrier, you just put the handle on these, loose them and lower the spare tire carrier while holding it back with the wire rope. you pull the rope and the carrier comes back in its place.....works not so well sometimes | __________________ My Former Rides 1999 318ti Alpine White, Cali Roof, Dinan goodies 1996 318ti Hellrot California Edition | | | 08-17-2009, 06:09 AM | #42 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2004 Location: Long Beach area Posts: 1,189 | hahah now that this has been posted, it should be useful to all the people with the swapped cars who relocated their batteries (Jesse and Marv). __________________ 97 Jet Black 318ti Sport. Here's a discussion I had about it earlier: http://www.318ti.org/forum/showpost....5&postcount=14 | | | 08-17-2009, 07:11 AM | #44 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2004 Location: Long Beach area Posts: 1,189 | Quote: Originally Posted by cooljess76 | ahhh I gotcha...i haven't read that thread, thanks for linking that to me. But then again, I haven't looked at that area recently hahah. __________________ 97 Jet Black 318ti Sport. Not so stock anymore!.... They're different and N/A through pelican or Tischer. Even the actual metal floorpans are 323ti specific. Their spare tire mounts completely different than the 318ti's. | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
