Default new to old = fast to faster

well i have been on this forum, but not in a while. So i figured i would post a thread about me and whats going on.

I currently have a 2010 135i with bolt ons making about 390whp its fun and nice but not really me. (plus it is a lease)

For the last few years i have been helping my buddy with his project a car that is a ledgend in the ti world. The 99 one lap of america first in class and third over all 318ti s52 turbo monster. so after owning it for the last 5 years and spending a ton of money he decided that it was time to let it go. naturaly having spent countless weekends working on the car i was in first in line. so some time next week the transaction will be happening and i will be the proud owner of the one lap of america ti.

i will make a build/restore thread later when i have the car.

thanks guys. i will make a build thread once i get started on it. a some of the stuff is the same from when caspty owned it. but a lot has changed in the last 2 years. the engine is built, custom exhaust, spa mani. gt35r and many other things.

I am going to be removing the system, installing a cut ring headgasket, installing racelogic traction control. cleaning up the outside, inside and engine bay. most of all having fun with the car.

i will be the cars 4th and prob last owner...

Very cool... I wondered what happened to that car. I have seen it in person back in the late 90s at Moroso (now PBIR). I saw it for sale a few years back for 40k!

The 1 series is nice but that ti is awesome!

Congrats.
