Default Project Ti.

I originally bought the car for my wife for her to use in the winter back in October, as her specific was: "drives like an E30 but with working heat and snow tires", so I found a 96 with M-package, we never got the clubsport here in Canada, but instead you can option M-package which includes LSD and bodykit.

The car came freshly rebuilt head from someone we know, an extremely loud exhaust and a full stereo system, and surprisingly lack of rust for a Canadian car.

Since the purchase I've done mostly maintenance work on the car and make it more reliable and less obnoxious with the exhaust, with all those out of the way, I can finally start to fulfill my addiction on modifying, with 3 other cars that I constantly work on, this one will be very minor compare to them.

So far I've bought:
- 328i front brakes, all Canadian 318Ti came with solid discs up front.
- BC Racing coils

Still need:
- M3 front bumper (it was missing from PO)
- M3 mirrors
- 3 spoke steering wheel
- wheels?

The goal is make this a nice and reliable winter car, and ocassional summer track duty.

How it is before the snow fall with minor detailing job done:

The car does have sunroof, but I guess its just hard to see in that angle, I've been debating on getting a set of style 32 in 18"s, but my wife thinks its retarded to put 18" wheels on an otherwise stock 318ti.

The E30 is my wife's summer car, we originally bought it for track, but it turns out the car is a rare gem and my wife doesn't want to put it through the abuse, its an 91 slicktop 318i, drivetrain is fairly stock other than typical mod, might get the JB racing flywheel this Spring for it thou.

Its sitting on H&R Race springs with Bilstein combo, 15x8 wheels with 205/50/15.

The E39 is my euro rice mobile, its a 540 with bunch of mods with a telesto grey from Lambo paint job last year, it's sitting on 19x10/19x11 wheels.

then there's my precious baby in the garage, its a Volvo 740SE that my dad bought it new back in 91, I used to do lot of bracket drag racing with it, I havn't driven it in about 3 years and its getting bunch of things done this winter so I can drive it again this summer.

Its a giant box on wheels.

I've got 18"s on my ti, I'd recommend lowering it if you get them, they look better without a large fender gap. I wouldn't recommend them if you're planning on racing it occasionally though though, they are pretty heavy

that Volvo is sweet, I'd love to take one like that and turn it into a sleeper was that generation still RWD?

Still have the 16"s, they have relatively new tires on them and we'll just burn through them and get r-comps, the 18"s would just to make it look good.

The Volvo is still rwd with solid axle and all, it has a getrag 265 tranny from an E28.

Appreciated, but we have all the tires/wheels we need.

quick q, has anyone fitted 19"s on the Ti? I have a few sets in the house and very curious how "donk" it would look on a Ti.
