I saw just the thing the other night, but cant for the life of me find it again. I wanted to look at the pic more closely and maybe mail the owner. I am pretty sure it was in a blue car and was very flush to the side of the boot under left hand side shelf. I have seen snr's boot but that wasnt it. Anyone know who/ what i am trying to find? I have found some excellent links to fibreglassing, so am well prepared. Thanks in advance Nige | | | 01-25-2006, 09:08 PM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2005 Location: England, UK Posts: 1,288 | £127 will get you one from stealthboxz __________________ 1995 BMW 316i Cosmos Black Mods: • Magnex Cat-Back Exhaust • Smoked Corner Lights + Repeators • M3 17" Wheels • De-Baffled Air Box • AC HandBrake Handle and Gear Knob • DEPO Euro Epsiloids + Predator Chronium Rings • Chrome Interior bits •IE Poly-Urethane RSFMs • Kenwood Power Series Audio • Powder Coated e36 325 Front Callipers • Sports Seats | | | 01-25-2006, 11:53 PM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2005 Location: England, UK Posts: 1,288 | 20 hrs! i was going to do it until you just said that unless you want to do me one __________________ 1995 BMW 316i Cosmos Black Mods: • Magnex Cat-Back Exhaust • Smoked Corner Lights + Repeators • M3 17" Wheels • De-Baffled Air Box • AC HandBrake Handle and Gear Knob • DEPO Euro Epsiloids + Predator Chronium Rings • Chrome Interior bits •IE Poly-Urethane RSFMs • Kenwood Power Series Audio • Powder Coated e36 325 Front Callipers • Sports Seats | | | 01-26-2006, 12:05 AM | #5 | Member Join Date: Dec 2005 Location: Jamaica Posts: 62 | | | | 01-26-2006, 01:03 AM | #6 | Junior Member Join Date: Jan 2006 Location: jersey Posts: 18 | nicee i want one | | | 01-26-2006, 06:41 PM | #7 | Member Join Date: Jan 2006 Location: Barnstaple North Devon Posts: 92 | thanks for the replies. i reckon the box i saw must have been a stealthbox. i have yet to see anything take up so little space. Halek, your box looks fantastic. Much respect. 20hours labour is a long time. I had found the links to chris's tutorials and thought i would give it a go, not realising just how time consuming it would be. I may however fashion up something to mount my amp and changer on the offside of the boot to match. At least i wont have to worry about fibreglassing the back of that. Thanks again for your replies. The Content Using a familiar forum layout, 318ti.org packs in all the usual sections that you’d expect from a good forum. The garage is a general section containing a lounge area for general discussion, a section for interesting ebay auctions, a buying section where you can get opinions on a 18ti you might be looking to buy, a racing discussion section as well as a music area. The technical area has separate sections for just about every aspect of the car, form wheel and tyre choice, to suspension through to maintenance and differential discussion. There are also tips on car care, regional forums and classifieds. There’s also a knowledgebase section, a gallery and a registry. The Verdict What’s most surprising is just how popular this website is – clearly the compact community is bigger than you’d have thought. What’s also surprising is how technical a lot of the forum is, with a number of hands-on guides in the knowledgebase. The site itself is easy to navigate and easy on the eye to boot, which is a plus if you’re into your compact; you’ll find plenty here to keep yourself entertained. If you just want a chat, the garage is for you but the technical section is packed full of great advice and is genuinely useful. The chances are, If you’ve got a 318ti based query, the guys and girls on here will have answered it at some stage. If you’re into your tuning, there’s masses of information here which will allow you to turn your humble compact into something a bit special. There’s also the ti companion which, when finished, should be a very comprehensive guide to the ti in all its forms, thought at the moment it’s disappointingly lacking in useful information. On the whole thought, what a great site this is- plenty of active users, a positively bustling community and a great place to go if a 318ti is your car of choice | | | 01-29-2006, 05:43 PM | #14 | aka Stabby Join Date: Nov 2004 Location: Mead, CO Posts: 5,336 | awesome! maybe you UK chaps will gain some more numbers as people read the mag and join the group! way to go all contributors! w00t! __________________ 1996 318ti, California package, 267k miles current mods: bilstein sports, bavauto springs, e30 m3 LCABs, solid metal ball joints, bavauto RSMs w/reinforcements, e30 3.73 LSD & halfshafts, supersprint cat-back exhaust, turner rear sway bar reinforcements, IE poly subframe & RTABs + camber/toe kits, powdercoated e36 32x front calipers, sport mirrors, H&R 28mmF/19mmR sway bars, x-brace, auto solutions SSK w/poly bushing upgrade, BMW CD43 head unit, DICE HD Radio w/iPod integration and "stealth" HD antenna, staggered style 68s, orange electronic TPMS, leather arm rest, JT Designs metal undertray acquired and awaiting install: heated seat kit, cali top switch relo, lumbar support kit, park distance control kit, heated washer nozzle kit, m-coupe rear subframe, trailing arms, differential, and halfshafts, m-coupe front/rear brakes with master cylinder, under hood light kit, mud flaps, rear sun blind, auto-dimming rear view mirror, tilt steering wheel retrofit, apexcone 5000K HIDs with 55W ballasts 2002 X5 4.4 Sport Package, 53.5k miles Current Mods: e46 m3 steering wheel | | | 01-29-2006, 05:54 PM | #15 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2005 Location: England, UK Posts: 1,288 | let's hope so, need more uk'ers for group buys!! __________________ 1995 BMW 316i Cosmos Black Mods: • Magnex Cat-Back Exhaust • Smoked Corner Lights + Repeators • M3 17" Wheels • De-Baffled Air Box • AC HandBrake Handle and Gear Knob • DEPO Euro Epsiloids + Predator Chronium Rings • Chrome Interior bits •IE Poly-Urethane RSFMs • Kenwood Power Series Audio • Powder Coated e36 325 Front Callipers • Sports Seats | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
