Default Mid-Atlantic Monthly Meet

Towson was a success---and there are a few TI's out there that couldn't make it, so as promised here's to starting a new thread to map out the summer and see if we can slate some dates and locations.

1. Dates? Reoccurring? Weekends or Weekdays?
2. Times? Afternoon or Evening?
3. Location? City? Stand alone structure/food & beverages?

Of the 6 Ti's that showed up to Towson, 2/3rds were "South of Baltimore"
In the Fall however, I think there will be a gravitation towards Towson...

I think Columbia, MD is closer to a neutral location.

If we plan to draw in people from north and south of Maryland, I'd like to be a lil' considerate of where they're coming from.

Thoughts?

Columbia sounds good to me. It would be easier for me to meet up on a weekend afternoon than a weeknight in general, especially when school starts up again. It would be cool if there was food nearby but it wouldn't bother me if it wasn't.

Well, sometimes you have to get out of the sun or rain. Plus you're less likely to be hassled if you have a destination in mind. I hear there's a pretty nice lot near a stripmall with food and stuff...in Columbia...

I think an occasional Sunday afternoon would work well for me. A lot of you have school and work---or just work.

Weekends in July
18/19 (18th you're doing a DIY and ///M44ti & MPWR are busy, can't do anything have commitments)
25/26

Weekends in August
1/2
8/9 (Saturday the 8th, I'm committed)
15/16
22/23
29/30

Are we trying to meet up again this month? During the summer I can do weeknight meets, my next 4(?) weekends are busy already.

LOL. No, I don't think we are trying to do a meet up until August. I just put in the dates as reference. I think the target is August.

carefree =/= independently wealthy.
