Sorry I couldn't be more helpful today, we were restricted in many ways. | | | 09-28-2009, 05:07 AM | #205 | Moderator Join Date: Mar 2007 Location: Maryland Posts: 3,220 | s'all good | | | 09-28-2009, 08:55 PM | #206 | Moderator Join Date: Mar 2007 Location: Maryland Posts: 3,220 | I hear what you're saying about EWS, but I've got all of the components that should be giving it a go. It's a mystery I guess.. I bypassed the starter again today, it churned, but never turned it over and on. So i'm positve the starter isn't kicking out. | | | 09-28-2009, 09:45 PM | #207 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2005 Location: Seattle Posts: 181 | It's going to take a good bit of cranking to build fuel pressure before it fires up. You might want to see about getting the EWS sorted out at the dealer also. | | | 09-28-2009, 10:02 PM | #208 | NOBODY F's with the Jesus Join Date: Oct 2006 Location: Ventura California Posts: 7,824 | Cedrick, this may seem kinda obvious but are you sure the EWS module, DME and key chip came from the same vehicle? Also, if it helps, I never disconnected my starter from the engine harness. If you want, I can take a pic of how it's wired up. | | | 09-28-2009, 10:43 PM | #209 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2007 Location: Elizabeth City, NC Posts: 3,877 | I've been thinking the same thing Jess. Ced, call up Tischer and find out how much they want to do it. __________________ ~Dave~ 98 328ti Morea Grun slicktop 11 128i space gray slicktop 13 JGC WK2 Deep Cherry Search | RealOEM | | | 09-28-2009, 11:00 PM | #210 | Member Join Date: Mar 2007 Location: Netherlands Posts: 93 | I used everything from my donor car, also the black box connecting to the key-ring and it started immidiately. No problems at all. __________________ S50B32, manual 6-speed, LSD, Z3 M rear axle, ///M sport package, 17" LTW's, Eibach Pro-Kit | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 2 (0 members and 2 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
