whats the diff ratio on the 1997 M3 have? I was told either a 3.25 or a 3.23. __________________

they're LSD right?
cuz i need to trade with someone for the medium diff since i was told the M3 diff wont fit the ti... __________________

The e36 M3 came with a 3.23 or 3.25 LSD. When you do your swap with the e30 or Z3 you'll need to swap the half shafts as well. Good Luck... __________________ 2LT Rodriguez CA ARNG

hey guys was wondering if this diff from BF.com would work for my project? its a LSD 3.73 from an E30. http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum....php?t=1147056 or should i go with a 3.25 from an E28/E30 that jesse has?? __________________

3.25 only came from the e24 or e28, not the e30. THe 3.25 is a nice differential, for those who like lower rpms on the highway, or great for a 6cyl turbo build. hey Jess, been a while. I'm doing an m52b28 swap, with future plans to add on the ZF 5 speed. Was checkin out FS threads and ebay for some E30 LSDs and came across alot of 3.73s, what combo would YOU recommend for a stock setup? (diff,halfshafts,flanges) | | | | |
