Good lord I love this car and it has a great story. I bought this car site unseen from Alabama and had it shipped all the way to AZ. Anyway it's one of the sharpest TI's that I have seen in the PHX metro area. See the full listing here and feel free to ask questions, make comments, etc. http://phoenix.craigslist.org/car/618723232.html Thanks, Justin __________________ 98 Ascot Green 318ti Active | | | 03-26-2008, 04:05 AM | #2 | Moderator Join Date: Mar 2007 Location: Maryland Posts: 3,220 | Beautiful car, hope it lands in the right hands | | | 03-26-2008, 04:14 AM | #3 | aka Stabby Join Date: Nov 2004 Location: Mead, CO Posts: 5,336 | looks quite minty, but i'm not seeing that it has the sport package (no m-tech bumpers, trim, no sport seats). you can have mallard run the VIN to find out all the options it had from the factory when shipped on this thread (if you haven't already): http://www.318ti.org/forum/showthread.php?t=18444 just post up the last 7 digits of your VIN. best of luck on the sale, it looks like a really nice example! __________________ 1996 318ti, California package, 267k miles current mods: bilstein sports, bavauto springs, e30 m3 LCABs, solid metal ball joints, bavauto RSMs w/reinforcements, e30 3.73 LSD & halfshafts, supersprint cat-back exhaust, turner rear sway bar reinforcements, IE poly subframe & RTABs + camber/toe kits, powdercoated e36 32x front calipers, sport mirrors, H&R 28mmF/19mmR sway bars, x-brace, auto solutions SSK w/poly bushing upgrade, BMW CD43 head unit, DICE HD Radio w/iPod integration and "stealth" HD antenna, staggered style 68s, orange electronic TPMS, leather arm rest, JT Designs metal undertray acquired and awaiting install: heated seat kit, cali top switch relo, lumbar support kit, park distance control kit, heated washer nozzle kit, m-coupe rear subframe, trailing arms, differential, and halfshafts, m-coupe front/rear brakes with master cylinder, under hood light kit, mud flaps, rear sun blind, auto-dimming rear view mirror, tilt steering wheel retrofit, apexcone 5000K HIDs with 55W ballasts 2002 X5 4.4 Sport Package, 53.5k miles Current Mods: e46 m3 steering wheel | | | 03-26-2008, 04:26 AM | #4 | Junior Member Join Date: Feb 2005 Location: Mesa, AZ Posts: 14 | FS: 318ti Ascot Green Thanks for the heads up. I always wondered about that as I remember reading somewhere that the ti's either had the active or the sport packages but not both. For some reason I thought that ASC was in the sport package. I will get the info changed ASAP. - Justin __________________ 98 Ascot Green 318ti Active | | | 03-26-2008, 04:29 AM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2007 Location: Denver, Colorado Posts: 3,212 | Wow nice car looks exactly like mine except mine is a base and has more miles. Well good luck with the sell. | | | 03-26-2008, 04:48 AM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2007 Location: North Carolina Posts: 157 | Nice looking car, interior looks new! One thing I'll say though: Quote: It currently will go off by default in case of a collision so still safe to drive with a passenger. | If your SRS light is on, your entire airbag system goes in to default and will NOT deploy in an accident. Make sure to get it fixed or let whoever buys that know for their safety.. Also, what exhaust is that? | | | 03-26-2008, 02:39 PM | #7 | Junior Member Join Date: Feb 2005 Location: Mesa, AZ Posts: 14 | Quote: Originally Posted by Ken Nice looking car, interior looks new! As to the SRS light that is not on but rather it is the light of the little guy in the seat that is on the far right of the dash indicator lights. My mechanic had informed me that is the passenger seat mat sensor and that the airbag will deploy by default in a collision. Does this sound right. Thanks - Justin __________________ 98 Ascot Green 318ti Active | | | 03-26-2008, 05:14 AM | #8 | Member Join Date: Mar 2008 Location: MA Posts: 76 | Sorry to hear you are forced to part with your car.
