Default Swap question

Been thinking about swapping a M52 motor into the tessa and was wondering what do I need?

- Motor
- transmission
- pedal assembly
- ECU
- Wiring harness
- charcoal canister
- rear battery relocation

Do I need the EWS unit (key, tumbler, module),Fuel pressure regulator and what drive shaft do I need?

There's a lot of reading in this section.
http://www.318ti.org/forum/showthread.php?t=7676

I don't know how everyone addresses fault codes with swaps.
I had exhaust flap, fuel pressure until they were written out of the code.

My car had a driveshaft froma 328 but it also had a 328 tranny.
Oddly enough when my driveshaft needed to be replaced a 328 driveshaft didn't fit.

Any ZF manual 4 bolt E36 drive shaft should fit, preferable sedan, just extend in the center

Charcoal canister? Why does it need to be replaced/swapped?
