It would make it alot easier when searching for stuff to know which cars/parts are actually local to us. Thanks | | | 04-01-2010, 06:35 PM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Greenville, SC Posts: 9,356 | Quote: Originally Posted by JoeyBello I think it would be a good idea to require that the state NY for example HAS to be in the title of the post. Honestly, I'd be happy if people posted their WTB posts in the correct section and didn't treat this forum like an EBAY SITE MY WRITING IN ALL CAPS. I might be able to set something so a prefix is required. __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti • 2003 MINI Cooper S • 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | 04-01-2010, 06:43 PM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2007 Location: NY Posts: 156 | Are you referring to me?? I've never understood why people can't put the two letters in the title to show where the car/parts are. Alot of the times they don't even have a location in their sig. I don't buy much of anything off of this site particularly, but on other sites it gets annoying! Rant off __________________ 1995 318TI base. 95 2.5L from 325IS. I also like their new addition of the model prefix option. | | | 04-02-2010, 01:09 AM | #9 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Greenville, SC Posts: 9,356 | I added states. Can't add any additional thread prefixes. __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti • 2003 MINI Cooper S • 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | 04-02-2010, 01:22 AM | #10 | That's not Millpoint Blue Join Date: Apr 2005 Location: BNA Posts: 3,161 | While I'm thinking about it, here are some random thoughts on this topic... - Change the FS forum titles like "US and North America" to include FS/WTB, e.g. "FS - US and N. America."
- Add some examples of good (& bad) thread titles in the "For Sale Rules" sticky.
- Come up with a preferred way to designate FS/WTB and the state. E.g. "FS [TN] - Item for sale."
