Default Another 318is loser.

I hope you guys dont mind another IS guy.
Im on BFC and quite the car forum whore.
But BFC didnt have the info i needed so here i am.

29 yr old Networking tech who loves his BMW.
The "IS" recently started knocking so i get to do a swap... another M42.
Im a decent mechanic who Restores old Muscle cars.
Ill make a thread in the engine subforum for my swap. I would be extremely grateful for any tips or tricks for the swap.

welcome, I wouldn't use the word "loser" since one of the coolest cars on the board has a trunk, check xxxjohnboyxxx's build thread

nice IS, welcome to the site. You'll get all the info you need here. For the most part try and stick to your chassis year when getting another M42 to avoid complications. It should be a breeze yank and tank babey

Looks like a great garage... All GM muscle cars (except that black pony) No mopar love?

Anyway, there are some differences between the 92 m42 and the 94-95 m42, but I can't offer any real specifics, sorry. Hope it isn't too big a deal swapping them.

Anyway, we don't discriminate against people with trunks, so welcome to the site!

A '67 Coronet with no b-pillar... Perfect for a GTX clone!

Yeah, Mopars were my first experience in building cars... My last one was a '68 A-body Barracuda... Wish I still had that one today...

Ugh... you just HAD to let me see that it really was a 'Vette that I saw in the first pic. [sigh] Oh well, at least it's not a split-window.

If it was a split window, i would have to include a box of tissues and some jerkins w/ the pic.

Im a Chevy man. Im still kinda new to the mopar scene. But the owner of the shop is a HUGE FAN!

Amen to that. [sigh] One of these days I want to own an American car built on the day I was born. A Corvette would be the obvious choice, but a '63 'Vette is going to be out of my price range for a while. Unless I find one to fix up, but that's way out of my league too. Oh well.

BTW, I'll assume that you know that it's "Jergens." LOL

Tell me about that Mustang ... I can't see much of it (my eyes are old and my screen is an iPhone), but I'm guessing a 67/68 fastback?
