So from what I understood from this post I can bypass the ewsII by getting a ews simulator? If this is the case, where can I get a simulator? Is it as simple as plug and play? Or do I have to mess with the dme and wires? | | | 12-14-2014, 12:42 AM | #32 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2007 Location: Gulfport, Florida Posts: 3,208 | Quote: Originally Posted by Rami93 I have a ewsII 668 dme. Chip can be found online with a Google search. | | | 01-11-2015, 02:39 AM | #33 | Moderator Join Date: Mar 2007 Location: Maryland Posts: 3,220 | Quote: Originally Posted by Rami93 I have a ewsII 668 dme. Sound about right or am I missing something? | | | 01-13-2015, 08:49 PM | #34 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2007 Location: Gulfport, Florida Posts: 3,208 | I'm willing to install a EWS delete chip for free since I don't think anyone has done one on this board. You pay shipping both ways, purchase EWS sim. The big thing for anyone who wants me to try this on their DME, if I fubar your DME it's not my fault or responsibility. I might try it on my own DME if someone makes a good offer to buy a EWS delete 668 DME. Yes I am parting my car out. Anyone need a M47 stroker crank and H-Beam rods. The stroke adds a lot of torque and the long H-Beam rods get a better angle on the crank to make more power. | | | 01-19-2015, 06:25 PM | #35 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2010 Location: Ottawa Posts: 579 | EWS delete for 1995 DME's must be done via a EWS delete chip which I sell and is plug and play and all other DME's 96 and above must be done via a EWS emulator which requires a solder job .
