Its just we are a bunch of enthusiasts who prefer real mods that actually do something or look good on our BMW's. Ultimately, its your car and you do as you please. But remember, you get what you pay for. __________________ | | | 09-04-2011, 02:54 AM | #8 | Junior Member Join Date: Aug 2011 Location: New Mexico Posts: 20 | Yeah that's true, I mean the only reason why I got the headlights is so it looks like a new car. I mean I'm just an 18 year old, and you guys probably know that you wanted to impress people with your cars when younger. I kept my original headlights for when I get older so I can put them back on because I really would hate to change anything else. Just thought they would look cool you know? | | | 09-04-2011, 04:44 AM | #9 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2005 Location: PA Posts: 1,906 | Quote: Originally Posted by hawaiiancowboy Yeah that's true, I mean the only reason why I got the headlights is so it looks like a new car. Until then, enjoy your car and make her a pantie dropper __________________ | | | 09-04-2011, 04:51 AM | #10 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: asdfasdf Posts: 10,002 | think of it this way, the only people who will be impressed by Brembo brakes will most likely know enough about cars to be able to tell that they're fake covers, you could paint your stock calipers | | | 09-04-2011, 01:13 PM | #11 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Greenville, SC Posts: 9,356 | I agree with tiFreak. You want to dress up the calipers, paint them. __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti • 2003 MINI Cooper S • 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org Last edited by 1996 328ti; 09-04-2011 at 09:00 PM. Covering painting (With the wrong paint) insulates the caliper. The red coating brembo uses is a semi ceramic that conducts heat well.
