OK, next update.
I've finlly finished installing the speakers. not bad for about 4.5 hours work

hmmm...coz it's about 11pm, i don't wanna pump it up and attract attention, but it sounds alright. still not as bassy as the stockies

image is awsome.

now, to answer some of your Q's.
I got the Infinity REF 5010CS comps......mainly coz i was on a budget. (mind you, i over spent my budget by 2 times).

I will be adding a 4ch amp later and attempting to build my own stealth sub in the back. the rears will be left alone, running off the head. don't need to much Quality at the back.

i've got my little eye on some amps on ebay at the moment. just gotta figure a way to make some quick cash

if you are wanting to build a stealth box in the boot, the man to speak to is Halek. he hasnt been around for ages but maybe you could email him and hopefully he could get back to you. he built a really nice one. and i think he wrote a tutorial on it somewhere.

hehe, thanks Dave.
it was this very thread which inspired me to build my own also
kept it in my favorites for quick ref when i go to build it

just a quick update on the speakers.
they seem to sound a little better now that i've played them for a while. maybe they just needed to be 'broken into'.
still on the hunt for a nice 4ch amp on ebay
