It still runs strong. I have had to replace a few parts but nothing to expensive or hard to replace. I wish mine had 115k I would feel like it was young again. lol. Good luck man and I am sure you have tried ebay and craigslist. There is a girl on here named bimmergirl who is selling a nice Ti. Not sure how many miles but it appears to be in good condition. Good luck with the search if I see anything I will post it up. __________________ custom dual exhaust,M3 front and rear bumper, 10.4 inch roof mount drop screen, Viper alarm system, DSII's rims, M3 Vader Seats, M3 Mirrors, Carbon Fiber CAI, Smoked Corners, Side Markers, Leatherz armrests, black grilles 225k miles and still the Ti goes on | | | 09-29-2009, 11:40 PM | #4 | Moderator Join Date: Mar 2007 Location: Maryland Posts: 3,220 | 115K is considered low miles where I come from... You can find a low mile ti in the M3 price range. Dahamler has a 200K+ Ti and it drives better and smoother than anything I've ever been in. | | | 09-30-2009, 12:46 AM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2007 Location: norcal - 94590 Posts: 3,186 | __________________ James 95 active w/leather interior and sport interior conversion, Vaders, full M-Tech exterior conversion. Most people drive their cars more than 15k miles a year, so do the math. As for them being in poor mechanical and cosmetic condition, well unless they're owned by enthusiasts, most people see them as an economical beater. If you do stumble across one that's been taken care of and has low mileage, expect to pay top dollar. I've been looking for one with a blown engine to do another swap into and make some $$ off of. Got a M50 sitting in the shed waiting __________________ 1995 318TI base. 95 2.5L from 325IS. My M50 has 130k miles and still pulls HARD. Still rides like, well, a car on H+R races, but I've had zero problems besides what I bought it with. __________________ 1995 318TI base. 95 2.5L from 325IS. S50 cams+pistons, e36 M3 front brakes. Id prefer a nicely maintained car rather than one that looks pretty and is coming up on ALL of its maintenance needs. I have and have had a 225k 325ti, 205k clubsport, and a 150k sport. All ran/run very nicely and all started in pretty decent condition. __________________ 1995 Hellrot Clubsport 318ti -Gone 1996 Schwartz II Sport 357ti - 5.7L V8 LS1/6 1997 Moregrun Metallic 318ti - Gone 1998 Schwartz II sport 318ti - M50TUB25/5 | | | 09-30-2009, 06:16 AM | #10 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2004 Location: Minneapolis Posts: 1,587 | 318ti people usually daily-drive their cars too. What the heck is that? My Ti is sitting out winter in the shop. Too many rocks and trucks around for the little California transplant. | | | 10-15-2009, 03:40 PM | #14 | Member Join Date: Jul 2008 Location: NY Posts: 40 | Mine has 225K on it and its still riding strong | | | 10-17-2009, 05:58 PM | #15 | Junior Member Join Date: Jun 2009 Location: Flathead Lake Montana Posts: 24 | Mine has somewhere in the 80K range, I'm not sure and she is tucked away for winter. I had no idea that this is a "low mileage" Ti. They are great littel cars and if I lived where the winter road conditions were a bit milder I would drive her all year. But she looks great sitting in the shop. I'll take some photos later today and post. | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
