Default General Opinion on this front lip

http://cgi.ebay.ca/92-97-98-BMW-E36-...item53e561c989

just wondering if any 1 has put one of these on in the past...or something like it...i got a avus blue ti with the non m front bumper. would the lip look better if i had painted to match my cars colour..i had eyelids made from the same material and didnt like the look of them with out paint on it(looked cheap).

any info or opinion would be great..i would love to get it to give my front end a more aggressive look to it and for 120$ cdn it seems like a fair price

looks pretty good, pretty sure I've seen members with similar lips on their cars. definitely paint it, usually vendors leave parts unpainted just for contrast or so they can re-sell the piece

not true. i like it.
here's a similar one from modbargains.com: http://www.modbargains.com/E36-M3-Ca...-Front-Lip.htm
its a bit more pricy though to even think about getting. but the ebay one looks nice. i would say paint it to match the car. is that for a m-bumper or non-m-bumper?

it looks like its for a non m. i think its designed to look like an m bumper with one of the more expensive lips on.

Edit: Just looked it says that it doesn't fit M3's and only fits stock bumpers

thx for the respones..yes its for a non M bumper only. my car is not dropped so i think it would look proper. getting it painted will probably be a hassle for me to get it the same paint colour as my car. i wonder how it would look if i sanded it a bit/primed it/and painted it flat black??..the only body mods i've done to it were changing the back tail lights to red/white...white front corner lights and a blacked out grill..

another question i have is how do i install this thing... i wouldnt want to hold it up with two way tape or silcone it to my existing bumper. maybe screw under neath into the lip its self going into the stock bumper?...then two-way the sides to the bumper ??

I've been pondering about this lip for quite a while. Only way I would mount it on is if it was painted.

That lip is for the M bumper. The one the OP posted is for a non-M bumper.
