Basicly allows you to change an offset of a wheel. You say set is that 4 or 2? What sized hubs? | | | 10-03-2008, 03:27 AM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2007 Location: Elizabeth City, NC Posts: 3,877 | to space out the wheels? But seriously, they are used to change the offset of the wheel. Some suspensions can rub the insides of the wheel due to the lowering and so using spacers stops that rubbing. They can also be used as a purely cosmetic thing to make the stance wider. __________________ ~Dave~ 98 328ti Morea Grun slicktop 11 128i space gray slicktop 13 JGC WK2 Deep Cherry Search | RealOEM | | | 10-03-2008, 11:45 PM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2008 Location: St. Louis, MO Posts: 201 | hmm sounds interesting. i like the cosmetic part of it. plus it wud allow for fatter tires on the back right? and later on down the lien i could get some suspension to make use to of the space. are the just for the rear wheels? pics of what they look like please. __________________ | | | 10-04-2008, 06:40 AM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2008 Location: Oxnard, CA - SoCal Posts: 258 | they are tentatively sold. __________________ - David | | | 10-04-2008, 05:33 PM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2008 Location: Globally Posts: 1,162 | Never answered the question David, would have taken them the day you offered. If you need a more specific size you can try the rogue engineering spacers. I currently have 18mm in my M Coupe. __________________ - David | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
