Love my ti, learning more about it every day. First of all, apologies if I'm wasting time with this posting. This is such a basic question, and I've searched to no avail. I was hoping someone could tell me what kind of bumper is on my car?? I want to have the bumper that has the spoiler/lip thing. This doesn't have that. But, it looks kind of like the one I've seen from DDM Tuning. Can I attach a lip to this bumper? Or is this the factory bumper? How do I make it look... well, cooler? Thank you in advance!!! | | | 07-18-2014, 08:41 PM | #2 | Moderator Join Date: Mar 2007 Location: Maryland Posts: 3,220 | | | | 07-18-2014, 10:07 PM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2013 Location: Seattle Posts: 513 | Hey welcome. I think your bumper is cool. However, along with the M-style that is linc'd I have seen a glued on lip that would attach to your current bumper. I believe it was Amazon as well. I can't tell if your's is the active bumper or base because your car is black and you parked on the ceiling! Good luck with the new bumper. I think that yours has a certain understated elegance to it.... | | | 07-18-2014, 10:18 PM | #4 | Member Join Date: Jun 2014 Location: MEDINA, Wa. I saw a a lip like this posted on another thread, but I wasn't sure if it would fit on what I have. http://www.amazon.com/92-98-M-tech-S...iglink20903-20 | | | 07-19-2014, 03:42 AM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2007 Location: norcal - 94590 Posts: 3,186 | Quote: Originally Posted by BRADESTAR Hey welcome. Every replica M3 style bumper I have seen is the same height, some have an additional lip, some don't. The one that Cedric linked to does, and lower splitters can be added to that as well.
