Arrow 318ti

I just purchased a black 1995 318ti and I want to put some modifications on it. Please give me some suggestions that deal with interior mods and exterior mods. For example, any type of rims that fit good with the 318 and the color. Thank you for your help!

Congrats on your purchase and welcome to the forum. Just browse hrough the photo gallery and see what others have done to their Ti's. There's an endless amount of mods that you can do to these cars, however some don't go well with others. Be sure to keep it tasteful and try not to only do cheap stuff to the car as it'll... well... make it look cheap. As with any car, wheels and suspension are a good place to start. FYI when shopping for wheels, the 318ti uses a 5x120mm bolt pattern and 35-45mm offset. Most 17" wheels fit nicely as long as the offset is above 35mm. Of course before you start modding, you should take care of all of the vehicles maintenance and common wear items such as the cooling system and bushings. Especially since most 318ti's have higher mileage. Again, welcome aboard, hope you enjoy your 318ti!

welcome, check out ddmtuning.com, they sell M3 style front bumpers and angel eye headlights pretty cheap, there's also quite a few places that sell clear turn signals

Thank you very much! That's going to help me a lot because I was thinking of first putting new wheels on. And the previous owner only used the car for the gas mileage when he was hauling parts around for his job. I told him that I will buy him a old used car to do that as long as he gave me his 318ti because I am a bimmer fanatic. I have an e30 1989 325ix and an e30 1985 325e so this is my first e36 and I am very excited to clean it up as well as tune it up.

I have always wanted to get a 325ix, I hear they are second to none in the snow. Welcome to the forum by the way, I'm fairly new to it as well.

The ix is amazing in the snow! And it is perfect for winter where I live in Chicago. It is in mint condition, only a little ding by the headlight.

I used to have a 90 325ix sedan, god I miss it, only got to drive it twice before my dad made me get rid of it because the airbag and ABS didn't work

manual, it was difficult to get used to it at first since the clutch feels so much different

there's a couple pics in my gallery, it was in pretty rough shape but I was looking forward to fixing it up, I'll get another E30 someday

Was there a lot of torque? because mine is automatic and a bit sluggish unless I hit the torque hook. Yeah I just took a look at it. You could have fixed that up easily! I'm selling my e30 325e to my friend for $800. Its not in the best shape lol but it runs. I'm picking my 318ti up soon and I am really excited to drive a car that is actually under 20 years old! lol I can't wait to fix it up. Any pointers on what I should start with?

wow! my uncle had his ix and it was just sitting in his garage in new mexico so I asked if I could buy it off him for $600 cuz he really didnt need an AWD nice car in the desert lol. So i bought it and but a new starter motor on it. I recently blew the trans so I am rebuliding it whenever the parts come in.

I was dead set on buying an ix and even found one near by, especially after we had a ~5inch snow a couple months ago and saw this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J1fFp5TWqZ0

I soon realized how rare it is we get that much snow in louisville for it to be practical and with the gas mileage it gets it wouldn't be worth it.

e36ti318, I heard there was a blizzard in chicago this past winter so i bet you were probably loving that.
