I am leaving Lancaster on Thursday night, to Reston VA, then down to probably Jamestown before heading to the beach. Not sure how long it will take to "do" Jamestown? Hopefully, we can go to the beach for a bit on Friday as well. At least that is the plan...

From this AM's news, "Seal team six has returned to its base in the VA beach area"... I suspect we should not get on the wrong side of these guys!

So how many cars are we expecting show up to this? I'm looking at google maps trying to figure somewhere we can meet. I see the VA Beach convention center and it has enormous parking lots but I don't know if they are actively patrolled/locked or what.

Just an idea, maybe bring a six of your favorite micro brew to share with others? Seeing the wide geographic representation here, we could see some interesting beers?

My Uncle (who lives in Chesapeake, VA) suggested Mount Trashmore Park or the Convention Center.

I have been working on my car and it won't be ready I fear for the trip in time as I have limited time to work on it and I am replacimng every rubber bit under the hood and some other things as it has been neglected a bit I fear due to family and health issues. about the only way I could make it now I fear is to drive my 2008 Taurus and that would stick out like a sore thumb. I so wanted to meet some other ti folks and see the cars too and have you all see mine and let me know what you think as no one around here has them that I know and I hoped some of the experts could have given me some advice, but it will be on the rack I fear.

I have not given up all hope, but I doubt I will be there.

If you can't make it in your ti then come in the Taurus, I don't see why that would be a problem. The more the merrier!

Still up in the air I fear as Sis just went in the hospital, but I will be there if I can be as I wan't drool over all the ti's LOL!!!

Mount trashmore park is good place to meet that is centralized and has a lot of free parking. Also i'm definetly down for some good beers..... And my house is still available as a meeting, party, bbq and beer drinking venue and if anybody still needs a place to stay i have a few spare rooms available.
