That's pretty cool, I didn't know you could get those with a manual transmission.

I'd think so, it's a 4-cyl. just like the ti, comes from their step above the entry level (C-Class <--> 3-Series) big difference between the two is that one comes with a factory supercharger

And one is a 2.3l, but most of em come with 1.8-9l.

That's actually a pretty good price. I've been pricing them here in Cali for a couple years now and they usually go for 11k+. Like spidertri said, manuals are pretty hard to find. I'd say that 1 out of every 5 I see is a manual. Seen a white one today, love the way they look. I haven't seen one modded yet, hoping to be one of the first.

Wow, and I thought I was the only one here who had the hots for the C230 hatch.

Trunk is wider compared to the ti, allowing for more choices for spoilers. No rear wiper though.

First thing I would mod would be the suspension. I hear they're real mushy. Next would be the tail lights (reminds me of upside down vampire teeth =\ ).

Yeah, I've always liked the way they looked and I agree they look kinda funny with the stock suspension. That would be my first mod as well. I didn't notice this until today, but the black shiny section under the painted panel below the rear windshield is actually tinted glass! As I was following the white one today, it kinda looked like it had a spoiler, but it was actually the light shining through the glass creating an illusion that there was a gap between the painted surface and the lower part of the hatch. C230 Hatches FTW! Smoked tails might help the Vampire look

17" wheels, a drop and a front lip would do so much for those cars.

Wait just one minute... Did Jess and Mav agree on something? And it was appearance related? I think the world just stopped for a second...

Quick Jess, say something mean and harsh to me! People are already thinking that you're going soft.

I honestly can't think of anything because I actually agree with you on the C230 being badass except for the tails and the suspension. Liking the C230 is a secret that I've had since the first time I saw one.

um.. umm... fcuk you Mav! I liked them first!

I too kept it a secret that I liked this car. My only reservation was that they didn't have manual transmissions, this one is the first I have ever seen with a manual.

These cars would look fantastic with mods.

After reading about them a bit it appears they only have a 1.8L engine, not a 2.3L.
