Hello all, On June 9, 2010 Aiden Enzo Hamler was born and weighed in at 8 pounds even and 20.75 inches. I'm already looking for his first car to stow away for later. I would love to have something that would be a classic in 16 years (i.e. 1st Gen Miata. Haha, congrats, that is awesome. I say unmolested E30 325is will certainly be a rarity in 16 years, heck, they are rare now. NA miata isn't a bad idea either though. I just hope that manual transmissions are still around in 16 years...  __________________ ~Dave~

Congrats! There is a lot of work behind those young eyes. Parenting is the best and worst all at the same time, if this is your first child, you will quickly figure out what I mean by that.

Thanks everyone; you guys are great.
I've already been loosing a little sleep but my wife has really been affected the most.
This is our first child and be are both in our early to mid 30s, I just hope that I can keep up with the little guy as time goes on. I was thinking of giving him one of the 332ti as his first car but I think it would be a bit much and I know he'll wreck it. I'm sure by the time he's of age the 2026 honda civic will have a 400 hp tri-turbo .5 liter diesel with some type of IA accident avoidance feature and he'll hate me for giving him some "piece of crap from the 90s".

I've always wanted to own a car that rolled off the line the day I was born. Perhaps that's an option for ya? If so, an M3 or M5 will probably still be cool in 16 years. :-) __________________ Real men know how to SEARCH!
