She loves to drink Royal Purple and Redline fluids; only the best. That car was well taken care of and should last you quite a while!!! Throwback pics for you! All fluids including powersteering fluid. Nice looking car...can't believe it has that many miles. | | | 03-28-2011, 05:53 PM | #18 | Junior Member Join Date: Mar 2011 Location: Washington DC Posts: 23 | Quote: Originally Posted by dahamler Good to see my old girl in good hands. | Oh yeah? You're Danny then! This kinda feels like I'm going out with your ex-girlfriend. LOL. Looks like you autocrossed with the 318ti and so did Phil, who you sold it to. Yeah, 255,000 miles... wow! I think it's a good car and will last a good bit! __________________ TRZ Photography:http://www.thejasonpproject.com ------------------------------------------ 1999 BMW 318ti M-Sport 1999 Toyota Tacoma Ext Cab 4x4 TRD Last edited by 1996 328ti; 03-28-2011 at 08:55 PM. Said he's been changing the oil, Royal Purple every 8k miles. __________________ TRZ Photography:http://www.thejasonpproject.com ------------------------------------------ 1999 BMW 318ti M-Sport 1999 Toyota Tacoma Ext Cab 4x4 TRD | | | 03-28-2011, 06:04 PM | #20 | Moderator Join Date: Mar 2007 Location: Maryland Posts: 3,220 | glad to see you're settling in perfectly fine. I changed every 4k and to be honest she never drove it hard at the track because she was a novice. I changed the power steering fluid about 3 months before I sold it. I would look at the coolant if anything. | | | 03-29-2011, 12:54 AM | #22 | Junior Member Join Date: Mar 2011 Location: Washington DC Posts: 23 | Yeah? Allright thanks for the tip! Did you do any water pump/rad work? Sounds like this car has had a career as an autocross and is now probably retired! __________________ TRZ Photography:http://www.thejasonpproject.com ------------------------------------------ 1999 BMW 318ti M-Sport 1999 Toyota Tacoma Ext Cab 4x4 TRD | | | 03-29-2011, 01:11 AM | #23 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2007 Location: Monterey, CA Posts: 770 | No I didn't but I'm not sure if Phil did or not. | | | 03-29-2011, 01:11 AM | #24 | Moderator Join Date: Mar 2007 Location: Maryland Posts: 3,220 | keep the legacy alive!!! for helping you find the deal, you have to come out to the May 2011 318ti Meet and show off your new ride | | | 03-29-2011, 01:55 AM | #25 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Greenville, SC Posts: 9,356 | That car is going to want to do a slalom around traffic cones. __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti • 2003 MINI Cooper S • 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | 03-29-2011, 02:17 AM | #26 | Junior Member Join Date: Mar 2011 Location: Washington DC Posts: 23 | Quote: Originally Posted by dahamler No I didn't but I'm not sure if Phil did or not. | Yeah?
