Alot of people think that the M52B25 is a detuned M50B25, what is wrong, the M50B25 is a completely different engine, starting with the fact that the M50 is made out of cast iron, the M52 is aluminum. the M52 engines always tend to spread a little, some stock engines were dynoed with 186bhp. @96cali sure, I can provide you with some pics.....but I can already tell you that the 323ti has a different assembled trunk compared to the 4 cylinder modells. the spare tire sits under the car you will get pics tomorrow, its already getting dark out here ;-) | | | 08-14-2009, 09:33 PM | #17 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: asdfasdf Posts: 10,002 | the spare is under the car of the 4-cyl. too, our batteries are under the hood though, and when we do the swaps to 6-cyl. engines the "correct" way to do it is to move the battery to the trunk, problem is that there's no good place to stick a battery I'm in love with your car by the way | | | 08-14-2009, 10:00 PM | #18 | Member Join Date: Aug 2009 Location: Germany Posts: 68 | yea I know, as I said, the trunk is different, I'll make some pics for tomorrow. oh and btw, thanks for all the welcomes and I'm glad you guys like my ti ;-) | | | 08-14-2009, 11:32 PM | #19 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2007 Location: Auburn, WA Posts: 1,814 | welcome sick sick TI one of the best on this forum, love the color too and the rear parking sensors. keep up the good work __________________ 5/96 318TI Sport BIG TURBO | | | 08-15-2009, 12:09 AM | #20 | Moderator Join Date: Dec 2006 Location: SoCal318ti Posts: 1,574 | Welcome to the org and I love your car!!!! | | | 08-15-2009, 12:24 AM | #21 | Member Join Date: Aug 2009 Location: Germany Posts: 68 | Quote: Originally Posted by Jean H.318TI welcome sick sick TI one of the best on this forum, love the color too and the rear parking sensors. keep up the good work | wow nice to hear that and dude, you're from Auburn? Does anyone know for sure if a 323ti has it in the hatch? Found an old thread on bf.c. 323ti from Spain has the battery in the trunk. Unfortunately his photobucket pics are gone. __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti 2003 MINI Cooper S 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org Last edited by 1996 328ti; 08-15-2009 at 11:19 PM. I lived in the town of Queidersbach, just up the hill from Landstuhl hospital. At the time I had a 1985 Scirocco; used to love cruising on the autobahn with it. I'm actually looking into getting a government job working at Ramstein AB as an electrical engineer. I miss living in Europe.
