Previous dyno sessions showed that the car was running lean on the top (I thought it was because of the 17lbs injectors). Called TMS and was told that "all dynos read lean b/c they sample from the tailpipe" and no retune was needed. I offered to send my dyno graph but I was assured that that wasn't needed. Dynojet Numbers (For those who say "your numbers are or seem low etc.): TMS Tune, S52, OBDI swap, M50 Manifold, 3inch Afe intake, 17lbs injectors. Mustang Dyno: TMS Tune, S52, OBDI swap, M50 Manifold, 3inch Afe intake, 17lbs injectors. Or See Attachment: danny afr (2).pdf Well the great buzz on another forum lead me to The Racer's Market. Bret looked over my graphs and sent me a new tune for larger 21lbs injectors. Mustang Dyno: THE RACER'S MARKET Tune, S52, OBDI swap, M50 Manifold, 3inch Afe intake, 21lbs injectors. Or See Attachemnt: danny hp torque BA.pdf This shows the gains from the TMS software to TRM and 21lbs injectors. TRM 4th Gear Run THAT IS ALL FOR NOW STAY TUNED for round two! When I initially did this swap I was highly restricted to modifying my exhaust mostly due to the lack of a TIG welder. What I came up with worked as far as fitment was concerned but was very restrictive. As you can see the dual portion was reduced to a single section that measure less than an inch at the smallest point. The mufflers I used were sourced from the Rodshop.com http://www.stainlesssteelmufflers.co...lers.htm#quiet and consisted of two of their quiet 2 inch mufflers. The piping used was 18 gauge 304 stainless sourced from mcmaster.com Overall the vehicle is much more responsive. The amount of torque that the car produces feels the same but the horsepower seems to have increase significantly and I cars climbs to redline much more franticly. The exhaust tone is deep and subtle, I can hold a conversation on the highway at 3700 rpm without yelling and the police don't even give me a second glance. Be advised that this is after a 300 mile break in. Not much as changed with the car. I'm mainly focusing on reducing the weight of the car along with some suspension mods. I relocated my window and emergency light switches to the center console. The bimmerworld radio delete plate was used. MOMO was having a clearance sale on some of their discontinued wheels so I had to pick this one up. $100 This hub is for a Z3 and includes the Airbag light resistor.
