Default Just got off the phone with....

with...RDsport in OC, Cali.

I'm going to be the ginea pig for their aftermarket suspension.

I am going to order some suspension components from them to really find out if they're any good or not. They are offering Bilstein shocks with progressive rate sport springs (I forgot to ask what brand but I will before I purchase).

Hopefully I can get it all for under $400. I'm hoping to have it all ordered by next friday. Or to save some money, I may purchase the RD sport shocks seperate, and get some slightly used H&R sport springs (under 3000 miles, non abused).

if you were to compare the springs to H&R's would they be more of a race spring or a sport spring

He didn't say much about a comparison, but he did say that their springs are precision wound progessive rate springs made to match up to the RD shocks. He also said that even though the ti and E30 rear suspension is the same, he said that the rear suspension was made to match the exact specs of the 318ti, and not just the generic e30 suspension(in terms of weight ect.)

I asked him about the RD sport contraversy about cheap products and he said a few things about a distributor in VA that started producing non quality parts, and that they were cut off.
