The later one

The car is a Europeversion all the way.

After the intake manifold i have the Europe M3 E36 catalysts, the problem is the part from just before the rear axle to the end, I did bought an M3 E36 rear silencer but it is SO houge ans very heavy so i have to do something else.

Do you have solved your problem?

To my M52B28 with M50 Manifold I mounted a combination of the catalysts from the E36 328i (metallic catalysts) and the Z3 3.0i rear silencer.
The pipe diameters are the same and you just have build an individual solution connection of these two parts (about 50cm of pipe are "missing" between catalysts and rear silencer)

Sounds good.

For me it was important to have a complete 2 pipe System, thats why I used the Z3 rear silencer

Yes, all the way. When I´m at home I can post a picture of my exhaust system.

I also have a sound video from this system, but on this vid the sound source is just a M52B25 not the B28.
