if your car is a 95 like you say in the thread title, you'd have an M42, not an M44, I'm not sure if the intakes are interchangeable or not but I just want to let you know so you don't buy a part you can't use

Thanks guys..........I am checking the VIN to be sure which engine is in the car. My source says possibly both in that year. If it is an M-42, I probably should take the complete M-44 w harness and computer and put it in the car and be done with it............comments?

Change the timing case cover and run the m44 like an m42.

You have to use the intake and throttle body from the 42 also though right? They are different.......what is different about the timing cover?

Thanks for the help...........

Cam position sensors are different tolerances. If im not mistaken, the m44 will work for a while but will either become damaged or not function properly due to tolerances, cant remember for sure.
