My source says possibly both in that year. If it is an M-42, I probably should take the complete M-44 w harness and computer and put it in the car and be done with it............comments? | | | 10-17-2008, 04:04 PM | #10 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: asdfasdf Posts: 10,002 | Quote: Originally Posted by blackm3kompressor My source says possibly both in that year. | all pre-95 318s have an M42, all 318s from 96-00 have M44s | | | 10-17-2008, 04:54 PM | #11 | Member Join Date: Mar 2008 Location: Mooresville, NC Posts: 37 | Thanks! They are different.......what is different about the timing cover? If im not mistaken, the m44 will work for a while but will either become damaged or not function properly due to tolerances, cant remember for sure. __________________ 1995 Hellrot Clubsport 318ti -Gone 1996 Schwartz II Sport 357ti - 5.7L V8 LS1/6 1997 Moregrun Metallic 318ti - Gone 1998 Schwartz II sport 318ti - M50TUB25/5 | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
