Default VDO oil pressure guage & sender

I'm gonna be getting a new gauge so wanted to see if anyone would be interested in a VDO oil pressure gauge and matching sender. Very easy to install.

$40 shipped for both.

Marv, where'd you tap in for the sender on the 6cyl? I want to throw an oil pressure in, but haven't gotten around to figuring out where to tap in

i got the oil cap for my I-6 on ebay. Here's a link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BMW-R...Q5fAccessories
or you can buy one from UUC motorwerks which is the same thing. I got mine for like $80 but had to source out for a thicker gasket ring.

Default Pass;

Marv;

I think I'll pass, maybe look for something to mount on dash or on the console.

Thanks for the response Marv. The price is exactly why I haven't put an oil pressure or temp in my car yet, can justify $100 for the adapter. I think I may go the route of drilling/tapping the vanos banjo bolt.

GL with the sale, if I needed one I'd pick it up. What are you replacing it with?

no drill and tap! I figured out all you need to do is pull the stock oil pressure switch and install the new sender in its place an VIOLA ! your on your way to being cool like marv

can you post up a pic of where the stock sender is? I've got no idea, but I have a bunch of adapters sitting, and don't need the stock warning light if I've got a mechanical
