I just installed these wheels yesterday and I noticed they rub slightly on the plastic wheel arch to isolate splashing water. I cut those where needed and now they don't rub. theres a good finger clearence. But I'm thinking maybe it rubs slightly when break turning? Also, when the wheel is steered all the way it hits the inside wall..! My lowbeams did not work tonight.. I'm thinking it rubbed on the cable, but I don't know where exactly that cable is, so it might be just a coincidence.

Your lowbeam wires are inside of the engine bay, not near the wheels. Youre 27mm out of stock offset spec, you shouldve rolled the fenders and made sure of lock to lock for rubbing. oh no thats bad news! thats my favorites too and i was thinking to put them someday but on 215 ..!! they rub too?
in 17" on 215 they will fit? __________________

doesn't sound like it's rubbing bad, just learn to not turn it so far that it rubs on the inner fender like you said. Like others said, the offset isn't right for the car
FWIW my front splash guard has gotten modified a fair amount by my fronts, and my rear bumper lost some plastic from the rears after I got rearended. I still rub on something in the front at full crank and hard braking, but nothing to worry about. __________________

My bad guys. They do not rub on the inside of the fender. I thought they did on the far inside but ignore that. Just me being paranoid on wheels again. I just do not have luck with it haha. And from that, and me being retarded for a good hour, I thought i rubbed down the cables. Just a fuse on the HID cables. HAHA jokes on me, completely.
I've been running -20 for at least a year and a half. 16s at first with 205/50 tires. They do not rub on the fender. If i go fast down some hill and go where the road becomes flat again I touch the fender but no rubbing there. I do believe i still rub a little even when I cut those plastic pieces out. I will know for sure soon.

As mentioned by Bluebimma, wheel offset is something that should be watched carefully for proper fitment.
Also, (and not mentioned) is that just getting them to 'fit' does not mean the load is properly distributed across the wheel bearings as designed. Yes. I am still carefully looking for any abnormal noises. I want them to work but if they start causing problems they would have to go.. They are 5 series rims. I never had problems with the 16in 5 series wheels but with the bigger size that might be different. For now, everything seems good.
