Anyone here though about reinforcing the rear suspension bolt carrier itself from the trunk?

do these cars have issues with the mounting points failing like the regular e36 and e46?

Nope, they use a totally different older rear end, which dont have the crappy issues as the E36 and E46. you are safe, unless you are pushing 700whp, then all bets are off.

im starting to see failure around the the front ref tmounting bolt? like paint flaking off and corrosion, which is first sign of failure?
