Dates? Reoccurring? Weekends or Weekdays? 2. Times? Afternoon or Evening? 3. Location? City? Stand alone structure/food & beverages? Of the 6 Ti's that showed up to Towson, 2/3rds were "South of Baltimore" In the Fall however, I think there will be a gravitation towards Towson... I think Columbia, MD is closer to a neutral location. If we plan to draw in people from north and south of Maryland, I'd like to be a lil' considerate of where they're coming from. Thoughts? | | | 07-14-2009, 04:24 PM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2007 Location: Elizabeth City, NC Posts: 3,877 | Columbia sounds good to me. It would be easier for me to meet up on a weekend afternoon than a weeknight in general, especially when school starts up again. It would be cool if there was food nearby but it wouldn't bother me if it wasn't. __________________ ~Dave~ 98 328ti Morea Grun slicktop 11 128i space gray slicktop 13 JGC WK2 Deep Cherry Search | RealOEM | | | 07-14-2009, 04:47 PM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2009 Location: College Park, MD Posts: 152 | Well, sometimes you have to get out of the sun or rain. Plus you're less likely to be hassled if you have a destination in mind. I hear there's a pretty nice lot near a stripmall with food and stuff...in Columbia... I think an occasional Sunday afternoon would work well for me. A lot of you have school and work---or just work. Weekends in July 18/19 (18th you're doing a DIY and ///M44ti & MPWR are busy, can't do anything have commitments) 25/26 Weekends in August 1/2 8/9 (Saturday the 8th, I'm committed) 15/16 22/23 29/30 | | | 07-14-2009, 05:01 PM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2007 Location: Elizabeth City, NC Posts: 3,877 | Are we trying to meet up again this month? I think the target is August. | | | 07-14-2009, 08:45 PM | #6 | Moderator Join Date: Mar 2007 Location: Maryland Posts: 3,220 | I'm free whenever weekends, or weeknights | | | 07-14-2009, 09:46 PM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2009 Location: College Park, MD Posts: 152 | Must be nice to be young and carefree. | | | 07-14-2009, 10:50 PM | #8 | Moderator Join Date: Mar 2007 Location: Maryland Posts: 3,220 | LOL if I was carefree, this swap would be complete | | | 07-15-2009, 01:27 AM | #9 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2009 Location: Columbia MD Posts: 215 | Quote: Originally Posted by Times Must be nice to be young and carefree. | Must be better than being old and unemployed. __________________ *Except 318ti '97 318ti M-Sport '95 M3 BMWCCA | | | 07-15-2009, 01:40 PM | #10 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2009 Location: College Park, MD Posts: 152 | Quote: Originally Posted by BMW_Hatchback LOL if I was carefree, this swap would be complete | carefree =/= independently wealthy.
