I'm also thinking of an SUV or truck. I like the idea of having plenty of room for the kids and towing capability but I'm still on the fence about that. The price of gas plus the fact that they're not that fun to drive makes me hesitant. But hey, we'll see what happens. Gotta sell this one first! | | | 08-18-2008, 06:59 PM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2008 Location: Boston MA Posts: 135 | love that car! too bad your selling it but good luck! | | | 08-18-2008, 07:09 PM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2006 Location: Central NJ Posts: 2,440 | I just got a DASCed ti... it's amazing. You're offering a great deal. I think my dad should get it to compliment his M Roadster... I'll see if I can persuade him. | | | 08-18-2008, 07:10 PM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Greenville, SC Posts: 9,356 | You would think with all the Club Sports up for sale, the price would drop. Man I wish I had some extra money. Between this one and the 325ti on eBay. Looks like I have no choice but to raise the fee to become a site supporter and make EVERYONE become a site supporter in order to post. __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti • 2003 MINI Cooper S • 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | 08-18-2008, 07:22 PM | #8 | Moderator Join Date: Mar 2007 Location: Maryland Posts: 3,220 | you wouldn't do that now Stevie buddy would ya? Please send me details/pics to glenn@team-bar.com. If it works out, the HID kits I got from you might find their way back home. BTW, the yellow Lamin-X on the lights are no longer there. I thought it took away from the lighting so I removed them recently. As for the price, I actually think it's a reasonable one. I just want to be able to get the next car and am hoping for a quick and hassle-free deal. Actually, if this car were more subtly-colored, I'd probably keep it. I always wanted to do a 3.2 swap and make it an autocross car. But the last thing I want is to spend a couple of grand just to get it painted...would rather put that towards a "family" car. | | | 08-18-2008, 10:21 PM | #11 | Moderator Join Date: Mar 2007 Location: Maryland Posts: 3,220 | you do have a point, pull me over red isn't always a family favorite. | | | 08-18-2008, 10:32 PM | #12 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2006 Location: Central NJ Posts: 2,440 | Well it isn't my E39, but my colleague's. It's nice, low mileage. The only downside is that it's an auto but it's very comfortable. What about a W124 Benz? We have one of those with around 80k, 1995 E320... it's my mom's but I want that ti!!! | | | 08-18-2008, 10:36 PM | #13 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Saint Paul, MN Posts: 3,244 | LOL does your mom know your selling her car? __________________ My Former Rides 1999 318ti Alpine White, Cali Roof, Dinan goodies 1996 318ti Hellrot California Edition | | | 08-18-2008, 10:39 PM | #14 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2006 Location: Central NJ Posts: 2,440 | It's ok... my parents have 6 cars so maybe she won't notice muahaha. | | | 08-18-2008, 11:23 PM | #15 | Member Join Date: Mar 2006 Location: Carrick-on-Shannon...for 10 more months Posts: 74 | Auto E39 isn't out of the question as it'll be used for commuting anyway. I'd like to find out more about it, if you don't mind. | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
