The S50 in this ti developed a rod knock, other projects got in the way and the result is that the car has been sitting for years. I have decided to turn this ti into a dedicated track car. After years of beating my E46 at autocross and track days I totally see the benefit of a dedicated track car. Because this ti is not a Club Sport or even a Sport, it is the perfect candidate. The S50 will be replaced with an aluminum block M52. I did not want to slow things by waiting on a rebuild for the S50. Even with some upgrades the M52 will be give up some power to the S50 it replaces but the M52 will get the job done. __________________ SUPPORT 318ti.org! CLICK THE LINK ABOVE! S50 cams. To keep things simple I am going to use the exact mods I had on the S50 on the M52 and add S50 cams to the M52. S50 cams installed with shorty headers. New upper chain, guides and tensioner before a rebuilt vanos went on. S50/M50 oil filter housing. __________________ SUPPORT 318ti.org! CLICK THE LINK ABOVE!
