And lets not forget, that is then, and this is now. | | | 03-15-2008, 06:02 PM | #17 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2007 Location: Eugene Oregon Posts: 6,182 | Quote: Originally Posted by Manimillion I understand the concept pretty clearly, but then again, the right buyer will take time to find. MAYBE 12,000 if you find the right buyer. __________________ 11/97 Base 328Ti | | | 03-23-2008, 08:24 AM | #19 | Moderator Join Date: Mar 2007 Location: Maryland Posts: 3,220 | Hmm... I believe these cars are pretty rare to come across in such condition. It seems to be overpriced because it has simply outdone itself in options. I believe that this is the perfect 318ti out on the market right now. If I see any above this price, then I will be forced to disagree. Since when was 148xxx miles on a BMW alot? | | | 03-23-2008, 03:50 PM | #20 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2007 Location: Ferndale, MD Posts: 462 | That car still hasn't sold? I have seen it listed for 3-4 months now. __________________ No trunk for the Junk | | | 03-23-2008, 04:17 PM | #21 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2006 Location: Memphis, Tn Posts: 1,299 | It's a great car. But not worth the 15,000. Even with all the mods, it's still not worth 15,000. Give me 15,000 and I will come up with a better car than that. Any one of us could take 15,000 and buy another Ti for about 5,000 or even 7,000 (too much also) and then spend the remaining 8-10,000 on mods and have a s50 swap and a lot of other goodies added on. And I am not a big fan of those seats either. I would take the leather Vader seats any day and all day. __________________ custom dual exhaust,M3 front and rear bumper, 10.4 inch roof mount drop screen, Viper alarm system, DSII's rims, M3 Vader Seats, M3 Mirrors, Carbon Fiber CAI, Smoked Corners, Side Markers, Leatherz armrests, black grilles 225k miles and still the Ti goes on | | | 03-23-2008, 06:15 PM | #22 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2007 Location: North Carolina Posts: 157 | I think true price is closer to 10k with all the mods for someone who REALLY likes ti's and wants to have one in such nice condition for their collection It's a great car, clean, in near perfect condition with fantastic mods, but ti's just aren't worth that much.. even with the DASC. If it had a S52 in it or something, the 15k pricetag would be much more reasonable. | | | 04-02-2008, 08:46 PM | #23 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2004 Location: Delafield, WI Posts: 471 | Quote: Originally Posted by Will'sBeamer It's a great car. Someone on this board talked about how great this interior is, I had a series 1 VW GTI with really nice blue velour seats that had thin red stripes vertically. The series 2 GTI had seats like this ti with pastel color pattern on gray and I hated it. The interior is only worth the money if you like it, no matter how rare it is. I'd rather have Vaders or the stock black cloth/leather bolster sport seats on my '95 ti. | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
