its all good jess, its just stickers and whenever i get tired of them i can just remove them, in fact i dont even have the lip anymore, came off a little at the track and had to remove it

More parts on the way, all the couplers that I need, k&n filter, vacuum hose, gauges, injectors, boost controller.
Almost done buying parts just need a catch can, downpipe, injector adaptors, m3 headbolts and ecu should all be done at the end of summer

got some more parts, k&n filter, oil catch can, some more fittings for the pipes.







and not on the pics but got the oil pressure gauge and sender unit, oil return line for turbo, injectors, injectors adaptors, boost controller, 8psi tial spring for the wastegate, boost gauge.



Thanks to JohnnyBoy for all the help with the process of getting my turbo finished. And helping me with parts and answering any questions i had. He spent many hours talking to me and mentoring me. I really appreciate it!

Could you show us some more closer pics of your throttle body with attached boot hose, please. Look like you don't need to do the welding like xxxjohn boyxxx though.

My catch can was $22 shipped so yeah it was cheap and does the job.

Ill snap some pics once I have the maf sensor so people don't get confused now, cuz the red pipe is representing the 3" maf sensor

I'm not sure if the pictures are still up or got deleted but "Blowin 4" used a reducer boost hose. One end 3" (MAF side) and the TB side, I don't know. Take a string and wrap it around the throttle body end then measure the string and use "PI" (3.14) as your divider to get your TB size.

The only reason my TB has the welded pipe is due to the high boost I can run. I used the stock TB hose for a while but around 20psi it would blow-up the hose and peal the hose clamp off. If you do use the stock hose you will need to do the cup/freezer trick to fit your new 3" MAF into the stock hose. You should be good up to 15psi with the stock hose if you choose that option but the reducer boost hose is the best for your application, in my opinion.

Cup/Freezer trick ~ stock OEM hose needs to be room temp. Jam a cup in the MAF end of the hose to expand the hose to a little over 3". Stick it in the freezer for 30 minutes or more so the hose gets hard and holds its larger shape when you remove the cup. Remove cup and quickly install MAF and hose clamp, re-check hose clamp after hose warms back up and is soft.

Still I think the best route is the reducer hose like Blowin 4 did on his setup.
