Default Massive great TI overhaul & looking to buy rims, exhaust & chassis braces.

It started when I traded an old Yamaha motorcycle I had on craigslist for barter for car or non-running car. After offers of a dozen suburbans, a few dodges, a couple scooters, someone offered up a non running Ti that started with Ether, so it was obviously a fuel pump. I had ALWAYS loved the TI and wanted one... so... here it is.

I stuck a Volvo 850 pump in it I had laying around, it appeared to be specd about the same as the ti pump. . maybe even a little better. Car was very clean with the exception of a couple dents behind each front fender and a few other dings from what looked like a blonde driving it.

Interior, immaculate except door panels needed to be re attached after the guy had put new regulators in it. , motor, immaculate, everything else...great shape.. Other than the faded clearcoat on the "galaxy black" and the struts needing replacement, It became a great candidate for some massive upgrades.

its not going to be galaxy black as it was. its currently in its first coat of what will be the base coat for the final shoot. GUESS ! .. its going to be some AMAZING paint at the end.
Removed radiator, alkaline condenser cleaner etched the condenser. , for noobs that dont understand that, power washing the radiator and cleaning the radiator and condenser via acid ( 9% vinegar ) or a hyper alkaline condenser cleaning solution, makes your car run cooler and makes the AC colder. Helps prevent future overheating.

After 4 block flushes with distilled water, added Toyota Red Antifreeze. Bought a new set of www.ddmtuning.com e36 Projector HID headlights. . Lets HOPE i can keep those 55w HID aimed down enough not to piss anyone off. I heard from a few other car experts that if you keep them aimed perfect, you dont ever piss anyone off really. New Bilstien HDs going in this week sometime before the final coat of paint. receiver hitch going in. Bought an upper strut tower brace on sale on ebay.

Only other stuff I did was new plugs, when I installed the new filter I filled it up with B12 & seafoam for a very solid injector flush. The old filter had obviously never been changed. washed pistons and valves with same chem mix. First two oil changes will be 6% or so marvel mystery oil.

Im looking to buy still - a Remus or Stromung exhaust, a lower X brace, a rear strut tower brace, lower rear Frame braces, and some 17" German or Italian made Wheels, and maybe a super / turbo charger.

all work done by myself. WWW.SaMobileMechanic.com, At the body shop I manage half the time.

yes, yalls will get to see the final pictures.

OH YEAH... also put new motor mounts and better used drive shaft bushing than what was in it. I live about an hour away to a very large awesome beemer salvage yard full of rust free san antonio cars with decent parts. very clean low miles car to start with, most things wrong were fuel pump & stuffed clear coat, a couple minor dents. ( see where primer is ? ) ..

anyone on here can add me on face book. . WilliamSven Notonline or Williamsven ( at ) yah000000000 dot com * you know how to spell that last part right..... .

I need rear suspension braces still, upper and lower..

Anyone got a hookup on a pimp exhaust

I just saw the cars of crashaddict and Inchpincher surfing around on here.. I feel far less pinch with what im doing to my car.

I also need some 17" Italian or german made rims. NO clones please. anyone have a hotline on a clean set ? I like the stock M ones but im also flexible.

The factory "BOGE" Shocks were toast, you could compress them by hand and they would not return up.

The Bilstein HDs raised the car at least 1.5"

Wow, BMW "Frozen Black" is sort of a chameleon color, it looks matte grey in some lights and glossy metallic black in some other lights, even when waxed.

Maybe that explains why the fancy kraut paint cost the body shop $1000 a gallon.
