You can use goo gone or something like that. 3M also makes an adhesive remover. __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti 2003 MINI Cooper S 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | 04-28-2006, 06:42 PM | #3 | Member Join Date: Dec 2005 Location: Toledo, OH Posts: 60 | I have used the aerosol bumper sticker/adhesive remover to remove those annoying dealership stickers from the paint with excellent results. I believe that I got it from advance auto parts or from meijer or someplace like that. I think it is pretty easy to find. I was careful to clean and re-wax those areas where I had used the remover. | | | 04-28-2006, 06:52 PM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: state college, pa Posts: 3,431 | 3M bug, tar and adhesive remover. Walmart carries it, along with most auto part stores. I used it to remove the pinstripes. __________________ I scream, you scream, we all scream for ZOMBIES. | | | 05-30-2006, 03:57 AM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2004 Location: Manassas, VA Posts: 4,129 | I just removed the 318ti emblem two weeks ago. I scratched the tape off with my fingernail, and the rest I just wiped with a wet paper towel and liquid soap.
