so i need some help...i took the 318 emblem off of my car and there was double sided tape that i cant get off does anyone know of a solution or some liquid that i could put on it without damaging my paint? I just rub with my finger then wax.
You can use goo gone or something like that. 3M also makes an adhesive remover. __________________ ...steven

I have used the aerosol bumper sticker/adhesive remover to remove those annoying dealership stickers from the paint with excellent results. I believe that I got it from advance auto parts or from meijer or someplace like that. I think it is pretty easy to find. 3M bug, tar and adhesive remover. Walmart carries it, along with most auto part stores. I used it to remove the pinstripes. __________________

I just removed the 318ti emblem two weeks ago. I scratched the tape off with my fingernail, and the rest I just wiped with a wet paper towel and liquid soap.
