Default New front lip + car was = photoshoot

We'll I finally got around to putting on my "experimental" front lip - I have a little more trimming to do, but I think it looks really agressive. It's about 4 fingers off the ground

Anyways, I gave her a bath and took some better photos. Enjoy and let me know what you think of the lip.

HATE TO BE THE FIRST ONE TO ASK...DO U DRIVE UR CAR? Cause if so, u wont be having that lip too long...lets hope im wrong. But if u tried to roll over a balled up towel or something. Say bye bye to it in the reirview mirror!

I made it out of an old MKIII VW lip I had in my garage. All I had to do was trim the sides - the width is almost perfect. For free I think it looks damn good. To be honest I'd even pay $100 for it!!!

M3outtanowhere - I drive my car on a DAILY basis. All of my cars have been this low. It's all about angles and going slow. Most of the roads I drive on are good, and I know areas to avoid. There is of course the occasion that I'm in a foreign area and I might scrape, but the lip is very rugged and securley fastend to the car. If in the super rare case it were to get taken off I could get another one for pretty cheap.

im not talking about the situations that can be avoided. Being lower to the ground makes you more succeptable to debris. From my experience's with re-tredded big-rig tire pieces. Just in my opinion though.
In reality it does look good, and unique...but just be careful.

On the race cars I maintain I use tie wraps to hold the spoiler lips on. That way only the lip tears off WHEN somebody goes over something they shouldn't.....

Looks good to me ... But I couldn't do it with our country roads up here...

Check your local junk-yard. Any MKIII VW Golf/Jetta/Cabrio should have one. Just pull it off, trim the sides to fit your bumper and attach to your car. Fairly simple with 2 people doing it. The lip comes in 2 pieces and is adjustable left-to-right.

Thanks for all the props. My next project will be adding fogs (yellow) and a racing dynamics exhaust system
