Default WTB: m44 rods

does anyone have any m44 rods they could part with? and does anyone know exactly how long they are?

They are the same as M42 rods JFYI. What do you need them for?

Same part # according to ETK. Guess they superseded to the M44 rod.

m42 rods are forged and heavier, m44 are cast.

do you think the m44 rods will be up to the task of a 7700 rpm engine and possibly FI? maybe i should just get some nice forged rods

Metric Mechanic uses the m44 rods in their FI motors...so I think you'll be fine.

those weight as much as the stock rods though

I dont think they use them on FI, i think they only use them for NA apps
