Looking good with all the smoked details. Now you just need some tint on the windows to complete the look. | | | 11-27-2006, 04:21 PM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2006 Location: Stamford, CT <-> Boston, MA Posts: 1,393 | I like the smoked 1/3 of the taillights. Oops one more thing a chrome or black chrome tip from the BMW dealer will make the tail pipe look if you are not getting an aftermarket exhaust yet. | | | 11-27-2006, 09:28 PM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2004 Location: Lincoln Park Capitol Hill, Washington DC Posts: 741 | Tabaku, looks nice......I wish I had M3 bumpers. I will most likely swap my stock ambers in when inspection comes around , my only worry is the angel eyes, I’ll probably try to disconnect them just to be safe __________________ Tabaku | | | 11-29-2006, 05:22 AM | #12 | Member Join Date: Apr 2006 Location: D.C. I still have a couple cans of VHT lying around here. I'm kind of an anti-amber freak and decided to just get clears. After this I was actually kind of scared to permanently tint the brand new clears w/ VHT so I went with lamin-x, which I love too right now, thanks. __________________ Tabaku | | | 11-29-2006, 05:43 AM | #13 | Member Join Date: Apr 2006 Location: D.C. I haven’t made a direct comparison with the light output but I would say the difference is very minimal with the lamin-x. I really don’t think you will have to worry about anything in terms of light output. Like what rwd_king said, if you use VHT instead as long as you apply a light coat you should be fine. Then again I am in the city... __________________ Tabaku | | | 11-29-2006, 05:43 AM | #14 | TRETEN IRGENDEINES ESELS Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: Rhode Island Posts: 3,687 | Lamin-x is great stuff, i have it on my fogs in blue. __________________ 98 Avus Blue 318 ti Active clear outs all around, stealth turning signals, blue led interior lights, 35% tinted windows,K&N air filter, 12" Kenwood Sub, MTX Thunder Amp,Alpine cd changer, Leatherz Armrest,ACS Pedals/Handbrake/FloorMats & Vitesse Tuning Carbon Fiber B-Pillars/CF Spark Plug Cover, New 16" MSW Typer 14 Rims on Goodyear Triple Treds www.myspace.com/avusblueti | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
