They seems to be good on Honda cars, supercharged or turboed...

Any advice ? They seem attractive.

I wondered about those too when I was researching my diff options. I don't know how easy it is to install gears on those or if that would even fit in the small cased diff housing that the 318ti came with.

Why not just buy a used complete LSD unit? The 318ti can accept a wide range of fairly cheap locking diffs. I bought a a 3.25:1 locking diff for $180+shipping (I did have to source a few other parts, totalling another $150), but the diff looked brand new, installed fairly easily, and works great. You may want to use higher gearing for a 4cyl car though (I have a 6 cyl). A 3.45:1, 3.46:1, or even 3.73:1 would be great for the M42/M44.

If you do figure out if that OBX unit fits, let us know. I'm sure a lot of people would be interested.

I dunno either, but if you are set on using the OBX, you could buy a dead E30 LSD for cheap and rebuild it with the OBX. The E30 large-case diffs supposedly will fit on the Ti, possibly requiring E30 axles though. AFAIK, the E30 M3 diff is the same as other large-case diffs for the E30 six-cylinder, but with 4.10 gearing, so if the OBX fits an E30 M3 diff, I think it would fit a 325is 3.73 diff, which would be easier to find. E24 + E28 diffs would also be eligible, but you would have to swap the rear cover.

they work fine, in hondas, people just disassemble them and use better hardware and re torque
