Default evaporator coil leak

anyboy ever done an evaporator coil replacement yourself? Sounds ruff, but most of the cost is labor as I can get the part on ebay for $100.

I just bought the car and love it but Ican't justify spending a bunch of cash on mods until the darn AC is working right. Any links or info would be greatly appreciated.

Default I'm in the same boat . . . .

I too need a new evaporator in my 96 ti. My mechanic said $2000 installed, as there's a lot of labor. If you get any info, please share. I don't mind doing some work, but don't want to get in over my head. Good luck!
