buzz sound when braking and hit pot hole

If I quickly apply the brakes and hit a nasty pot hole at the same time, I hear something activating *when I hear the buzzing sound* in the front of the car. I think it has to do with my abs brakes or something, but I'm not sure.

Has anyone else out there had this happen to them?

yeah I know exactly what your talking about. Living in Philly all of the streets are ****ty and have pot holes all over and that happens to me sometimes. I notice it even more since I got my 17" mille miglia wheels on the ti now.
It deffinetly is the abs braking system. It does that so the brakes wont lock up, though the noise and feel is very weird it isnt at all bad for the car. Its just doing its job.
