Hey all. I bought a '96 318ti sport Sunday It's a little rough but the deal was to good to pass up. In addition to replacing the motor the car needs several smaller parts. Someone removed all of the under body plastic behind the front bumper. The brake ducts, splash guards, front wheel well plastic and all the associated parts are gone. Any suggestions on where I could find these parts used? Since I'm not replacing broken parts it's hard for me to figure out what I need and what the part numbers are. I also need the passenger side door molding and the rear bumper insert. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

If you are replacing the motor, why not put a 6 in there? A 2.8 from a Z3 would be an excellent choice.

yes...go for the 2.8 or better if you can afford it. a 2.5 wouldn't be to shabby either as far as what you need see about going to a junk yard find a car with the front intact and see if you can take what you need for a few bucks. an ETK helps alot too you can see exactly what you need...any questions email me at kinkajou74@hotmail.com

I would love to put a 6 in the car but I have neither the time or the money to take on that kind of project right now.
