It has 97,500ish miles on it. M44 with automatic trans. Has a sunroof, newer tires, a very good runner. Car will be a full running PARTS CAR only, I can/will post pics later today or tomorrow. Any opinions on a $3000 firm price tag? | | | 01-19-2009, 10:15 PM | #2 | That's not Millpoint Blue Join Date: Apr 2005 Location: BNA Posts: 3,161 | Why is it a "parts car only"?? Whatever issue(s) is keeping it from being a daily driver will affect the value/price. __________________ Real men know how to SEARCH! A very long story, I figured 3k would maybe be a fair amount as I paid 6k for it not too long ago. The car runs perfectly fine and had been a daily driver. | | | 01-20-2009, 12:33 AM | #4 | Junior Member Join Date: Sep 2008 Location: Delaware Posts: 24 | pics??? | | | 01-21-2009, 05:53 AM | #5 | Junior Member Join Date: Jul 2008 Location: Chicago Posts: 21 | I will post interior pics tomorrow. The front corners are clear. Sorry about the snow on the car. Paint is good, except the front bumper/ air dam and the sunroof has some clear coat pealing. The hood has typical chipping and the rear hatch has a pretty big scratch on the lip. | | | 01-21-2009, 06:08 AM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2006 Location: central ct Posts: 503 | why don't you just go to the DMv and pay the $50 bucks for a lost title search? frankly, 3k for a car, running or not, with no title is way too much IMO. __________________ 2010 Genesis Coupe 2.0t track | 2000 Dakota Former 1995 318ti owner | | | 01-21-2009, 04:41 PM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: asdfasdf Posts: 10,002 | Quote: Originally Posted by briansol why don't you just go to the DMv and pay the $50 bucks for a lost title search? | definitely, why take a 50% loss on the car? | | | 01-22-2009, 04:56 PM | #8 | Member Join Date: Aug 2006 Location: Lenexa, ks Posts: 67 | how much do you want for the hood? __________________ godlessSAVAGE | | | 01-22-2009, 09:19 PM | #9 | Junior Member Join Date: Jul 2008 Location: Chicago Posts: 21 | I would love to pay $50 for a lost title. However that is not the issue. I have a title, which is a certified rebuilt title. The car has a sticky past, I was informed by the Sec of State police that it would probably be my best bet to scrap or sell the car for parts because the rebuilt title is in a revoked status and the active title is now the original Salvage title. (Was a stolen recovery) I have a complaint filed with the Sec of State. I was just curious on an opinion of price, etc. I aimed high, no action, which I figured would be the case. Right now I am going to hold off on parting the car piece for piece, until my case goes completely through the system, and maybe I'll get lucky and get my rebuilt title back. If I do end up getting a cleared rebuilt title, I would happily entertain any offers to buy the car as a normal, titleable and drivable car. So I guess wish me luck, otherwise its the end of the line for another 318ti | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
