I bought a third one for the factory rear spoiler. I don't know if they are all still available. __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti • 2003 MINI Cooper S • 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | 03-04-2004, 02:30 PM | #3 | Member Join Date: Oct 2003 Location: england Posts: 68 | thats the one(3rd).thanks very much. i thought they were after market. i'll ask my dealer then. __________________ '97 318TI --will be supercharged!! | | | 03-04-2004, 02:51 PM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Greenville, SC Posts: 9,356 | You need to remove the moulding to install them. When you get them you might want to install them at the dealership in case you break one of the plastic fasteners that secure the moulding to the door. __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti • 2003 MINI Cooper S • 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | 03-04-2004, 09:56 PM | #5 | Member Join Date: Oct 2003 Location: england Posts: 68 | thanks.really appreciate it __________________ '97 318TI --will be supercharged!! | | | 03-05-2004, 10:20 PM | #6 | Moderator Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Bouncing off the rev limiter in CT! I bought my X-brace from him and he is very nice to do business with. He sells genuine BMW parts, and I would assume these would be also. He sells them for $59.00 a set, but I have no idea what a dealership would charge for them. I found them by searching for bmw 318ti. | | | 03-07-2004, 09:42 PM | #9 | Member Join Date: Oct 2003 Location: england Posts: 68 | seen them, too bad he only ships to the u.s.haven't tried my dealer. __________________ '97 318TI --will be supercharged!! | | | 03-08-2004, 07:52 AM | #10 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2004 Location: Port St. Johns, Florida Posts: 2,242 | Is he the guy in Orlando? yea I actually do know of him He lives 10 mins from me, going to buy a Xbrace from him after my bodyshop time coming up. | | | 03-12-2004, 03:58 PM | #11 | Member Join Date: Oct 2003 Location: england Posts: 68 | Quote: Originally Posted by Steven Schlossman I can't seem to find the part number but I got them from the dealer. Then it will look like it was there all along. __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti • 2003 MINI Cooper S • 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | 03-12-2004, 10:17 PM | #13 | Moderator Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Bouncing off the rev limiter in CT! Posts: 3,156 | To anyone looking for these emblems at their local dealer: use the part number I posted above. Just order them- they most likely will NOT show up in the dealer's computer, but they can order with a P/N. For England, look under M3GT parts. You guys got that (2 and 4 door) and we got the M3 LTW ('95 only) | | | 03-12-2004, 11:29 PM | #14 | Member Join Date: Oct 2003 Location: england Posts: 68 | Quote: Originally Posted by Steven Schlossman You need to remove the emblem from the plastic frame.
